On the auspicious day of Diwali, His Holiness Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda, Mahamandaleshwar of the oldest Apex body of Hinduism, the Mahanirvani Akhada and the oldest monastic order, the Madurai Aadheenam, sent his divine blessings to everyone. In his Diwali message to the world he said this is the day for completing with Narakasura - who represents the hell we carry within us. "This is the day of auspicious beginnings. So today, I bless you all and I begin a new life for all of you. May you all have completion and new life and the ablity to rewrite and recreate a new future - a reverberating and powerful new future. I give you all completion, integrity and Sadashivatva. Sadashivoham" he said.
Swamiji also said "Deepvali is a special day for many traditions. This day is dedicated to Mahakali. She is responsible for manifesting as Nithyananda on this very day". This is the day when, Swamiji said, after his enlightenment experience, the auspicious blessing "Be Blissful" happened in his system.
"Let Sadashiva manifest completely in everyone of us and radiate all the auspiciousness, health, wealth, his bliss, his knowledge, his enlightenment experience and all his powers. Let him manifest all the auspiciousness and all the best things" he said. He concluded his Diwali message by wishing people a blissful and happy Diwali in multiple languages.
The adheenam celebrated Diwali with many homas and rituals including the powerful Chandi Homa and with fireworks, dancing and a traditional feast and offerings of a variety of food items to the divine.
